Hello one and all and welcome back to another Draft "Expert" blog post! Much like the 11 weeks prior, this one is dedicated to the 2022 NFL Draft class, most notably the quarterback position, and much like last week, there isn't a whole lot of movement. That being said, there is some.
With that, we may see a new face at number two, a California quarterback moving on up the list, a Carolina kid moving down, and Bailey Zappe, once again, putting up monster numbers.
So, without further delay, here is the Draft "Expert's" week 11 quarterback prospect rankings! Enjoy!

1. Matt Corral, Ole Miss

Wk 12 - 27/36 326 yds 2 touchdowns 1 interceptions/7 carries 29 yds 0 touchdowns v Vanderbilt (31-17 W)
Season - 233/345 3,100 yds 19 touchdowns 3 interceptions/133 carries 552 yds 10 touchdowns
Matt Corral is holding on to the number one spot in this weeks rankings, but only just. After his pretty insane start to the season, where he threw 10 touchdowns in the first four games, he has kind of slowed down, to a certain extent. This performance though was Corral's best, in regards to statistics, of this season. Against Vanderbilt, Corral passed for 326 yards, the most since the win vs Tulane on September 18th, and was the first time he had registered more than one passing touchdown in a game since the Tennessee game on October 2nd. Ever since that Tennessee game, Corral has only thrown five touchdowns, that's in five games, and didn't register a touchdown pass in the loss to Auburn. I think it's starting to become a very highly intense race for the number one spot in the 2022 NFL Draft, and Corral will need to continue to play like he did on Saturday in the next game against Mississippi State and in their bowl game. The guy sitting at number two is coming fast, hopefully Corral balls out in the Egg Bowl on Thursday night.

Season - 286/426 3,857 yds 36 touchdowns 6 interceptions/88 carries 217 yds 4 touchdowns
Another week, another strong performance for the Pitt Panthers and their quarterback Kenny Pickett. Though it was a close one, Pitt came out on top 48-38, with Pickett tossing 340 yards with four touchdowns, but did throw two interceptions. With that, this was the first time Pickett had thrown two picks in a game since the Miami game on October 30th, a game which Pitt came out the wrong side of. An interesting tidbit with those aforementioned four touchdowns, all of them went to wide receiver Jordan Addison, who also had a season high 202 yards on a season high 14 catches. Addison has easily been Pickett's favorite target this season, with the pair combining for 1,272 yards and 15 touchdowns with Addison totaling 74 catches. In a match-up that was expected to be high scoring, Pitt came out on top with Pickett playing well again. This season has been one to remember for Pickett, who has surpassed every number from his previous four seasons as Pitt's quarterback, tossing 36 touchdowns with 3,857 yards and just six interceptions to go along with 217 yards on the ground, which is only three yards behind his career high of 220 yards in 2018. This week, Pickett and co. will have a tough match-up against Syracuse on the road. Though the Orange aren't the greatest team, their defense can be hard to break down, apart from their past two losses to NC State and Louisville. I expect Pickett to put forth another nice performance, getting him ready for a big ACC Championship game and could possibly see him move unto number one in next weeks rankings.

Season - 170/269 2,321 yds 23 touchdowns 11 interceptions/173 carries 783 yds 10 touchdowns
I've said this a lot this season, but I really like Malik Willis, and I think his skill set is unmatched compared to the other quarterbacks in this class. That being said, he's had a few stinkers this season, with this weekends match-up being one of those, getting blown out at home by Levi Lewis and the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns 42-14. With that, this is the fourth time this season Willis has thrown two+ interceptions in a season, throwing five in the past two games, and completing a season low 41.2% competition percentage in this past weekends game. This game also saw Willis rush for a career low in rushing yards when having at least 20 attempts, totaling 28 yards and 1.4 yards per carry. Never before had he not rushed 70+ yards when having 20+ attempts. All around, this was not Willis' best performance. His numbers this year are better than what they were last year, but he's had a few rough performances this season, which has now seen him drop down to number three on this list. This week doesn't get any easier, taking on a very tough Army defense. Hopefully though he has a nice bounce back week and can move back up the list, he's just too good be at number three.

Season - 350/502 3,898 yds 32 touchdowns 4 interceptions/47 carries -197 yds 0 touchdowns
This was a tough result for Carson Strong and the Nevada Wolf Pack last Friday. Losing to a very tough Air Force Falcons team by just two points in triple overtime, making this their second straight game decided by two points, losing to San Diego State 23-21 last week. Despite the loss, Carson Strong put together another strong performance, tossing four touchdowns with 351 yards through the air, though he did throw a pretty bad interception in the second quarter, trying to force a ball into quadruple coverage. Despite the interception, this was the third time within this past month that he has thrown four touchdowns in a game and the fourth time throwing three+ touchdowns in a game. Though he's not the greatest runner in the world, totaling an astonishing career low -51 yards on the ground, he's is one of the best passers of the football in the country, siting fourth in the nation in passing yards and seventh in passing touchdowns. This week against Colorado State, I expect his numbers to be as high as normal, as the Rams are coming off a 50-45 loss to Hawaii where they allowed Rainbow Warrior quarterback Chevan Corderio to throw for 406 yards and two touchdowns. The Rams haven't won a game since October 16th and I expect that to be the same after Saturday's result.

Season - 206/310 2,699 yds 25 touchdowns 6 interceptions/83 carries 325 yds 6 touchdowns
For the past couple weeks, we have talked about how Cincinnati had been underperforming, even though they had been winning those said games. With some tough games against some not great teams, such as Navy, Tulane, Tulsa, and, at times, against USF. This week though, Cincinnati came with a vengeance against the SMU Mustangs, halting their explosive pass offense and winning 48-14 on Senior Day. After watching their recent games, I was expecting a tougher game on Saturday, but the Bearcats made light work of the Mustangs. In the game, Desmond Ridder had himself a great performance, scoring a rushing and receiver touchdown while also tossing three more with no turnovers. This was the type of game Cincinnati needed for the Bearcat-Playoff deniers and with this result should see Cincy in the CFP top four for the first time this season.

Unsurprisingly, Sam Howell did not appear in North Carolina's recent win vs Wofford due to an upper body injury he suffered during the final play in the loss to Pitt last week. This game against Wofford was a good game to rest Howell, especially with this Friday's opponent being in state rival NC State. We'll see how this recent injury effects Howell's game on Friday.

Season - 170/243 2,411 yds 24 touchdowns 3 interceptions/136 carries 485 yds 5 touchdowns
There's not really a lot to talk about when it comes to Hendon Hooker's performance this past Saturday. Going up against a South Alabama team that had lost three of their past four games and was 1-4 on the road, Tennessee took care of business, winning 60-14, with Hendon Hooker putting up 273 yards through the air with two touchdowns and just three incompletions. He also totaled 21 yards on the ground on seven carries with a touchdown there as well. Hooker put together a nice game against an inferior opponent, which is what was expected, now their going up against Tennessee's in-state rival Vanderbilt, who are coming off a 31-17 loss to Ole Miss. Vanderbilt has lost their last six games, I'm kind of expecting another performance for Hooker and co. like what we saw this past Saturday. Even though it's on the road, Tennessee should have no problems beating Vandy on Saturday.

8. Dorian Thompson-Robinson, UCLA (+1)

Season - 157/256 2,245 yds 18 touchdowns 6 interceptions/117 carries 507 yds 9 touchdowns
Dorian Thompson-Robinson was ready to play on Saturday against their LA rivals, clobbering the Trojans 62-33 with him totaling 349 yards through the air with four touchdowns with a further 46 yards on the ground with two touchdowns there as well. Though he did throw two interceptions, totaling six touchdowns with almost 400 yards of total offense is insanely impressive, especially considering some of the plays he made throughout the game, i.e. the hurdle to score a touchdown in the fourth quarter. Statistically, this was DTR's best game of the season, making this the first time this year he has thrown for more than three touchdowns, the first time he's thrown for over 300 yards, the first time he's completed over 70% of his passes, and the first time since October 9th he has rushed for two touchdowns in a game. Look, I am aware USC is not at their best this season, but this was DTR's first time beating the Trojans as UCLA's starter (he played in their win in 2018 but only registered one rush for -1 yards). This was a very nice performance from DTR and has seen him move up a spot on this weeks quarterback rankings. Next for UCLA, they're taking on the Golden Bears of Cal, who are coming off a massive win vs their biggest rival Stanford, 41-11. Cal may be 4-6 on the season, but every loss they've had (expect for one) has been by single digits. This is an unfortunate team that'll be motivated to beat another in state opponent, but with DTR coming off a career game, I don't see Cal pulling off the home upset.

Season - 235/391 3,475 yds 31 touchdowns 9 interceptions/89 carries 291 yds 9 touchdowns
After screaming into the top 10, being as high as number seven, Hartman has dropped down the list in consecutive weeks after back-to-back iffy performances against North Carolina and NC State, throwing five interceptions while also completing just 45 of 98 passes, good for 45.6% completion percentage. Now, though he dropped down again, I would say it was more off of the performance of DTR and not necessarily Hartman playing "bad," though he only threw only one touchdown and an interception while also rushing for a season low -37 yards. That being said, Hartman got beat up, getting sacked a season high seven times, after not being sacked more than three times in a game before that. Even though he didn't have the greatest game, he didn't play bad, especially against a solid Clemson defense. This week, Wake Forest is taking on Boston College on the road, and though the Eagles are only 6-5, it'll be a tough match-up for the Demon Deacons as Boston College has a top five pass defense, giving up just 167.8 yards per game. Now, Boston College hasn't face an offense like Wake Forest's this season, an offense that averages 490 yards per game will be a little tougher to stop. All in all, this should be a fun one to watch on Saturday.

Season - 381/532 4,640 yds 48 touchdowns 9 interceptions/39 carries 28 yds 3 touchdowns
If there's one thing guaranteed in college football this season, it's that Bailey Zappe will put up monster numbers, regardless of who Western Kentucky is playing. Like, seriously. In every game this season, Zappe has thrown three or more passing touchdowns and has now thrown five or more passing touchdowns in five games this season. That's just stupid. Now, I know Western Kentucky isn't playing a murderers row of teams, but Zappe's numbers are still ridiculous. As of right now, Zappe is leading the nation in both passing yards and passing touchdowns, and I'd be surprised if he didn't finish the season atop of those rankings as well. Now, this weekends game will be a decently tough one, taking on the Marshall Thundering Herd, who have won five of their past six games while also having one of the nation's top passing defenses, giving up 187.5 yards per game this season. Like Marshall, Western Kentucky started the season slow, but have been extremely hot, led by Bailey Zappe. After starting 1-4, the Hilltoppers have rattled off six consecutive wins, all those wins being by double digits. Marshall has the best pass defense in Conference USA, let's see which one folds on Saturday, Zappe and the passing attack or the Herd's passing defense. It should be a fun one to watch.
